The Gaming Control Appropriation Act of 2008 makes appropriations from the restricted revenue accounts within the State Gaming Fund and from the State Gaming Fund to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board ($33,310,000) the Department of Revenue ($9,754,000), the Pennsylvania State Police ($14,228,000) and the Attorney General ($914,000) for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008, to June 30, 2009, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008. Unrestricted funds appropriated to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in the amount of $22,184,000 would constitute a loan and would be repaid. The board would defer assessing slot machine licensees for repayment until such time as 11 slot machine licenses have been issued and 11 licensed gaming entities have commenced the operation of slot machines.
